Possible Reasons for Inability to Adjust the Mold:
- The proximity switch, relay, or contactor may be damaged.
- The gap between the adjusting nut gland and the nut is insufficient.
- There could be thread binding.
- The mold adjustment motor might be malfunctioning.
- The sliding feet of the second board may be too tight.
- There could be a disruption in the line or poor contact.
Solutions:
- Use a feeler gauge to measure and adjust the gap between the gland and the nut.
- Check if the mold adjustment reversing valve is stuck or powered: repair or replace the valve as needed.
- Inspect for phase loss or undervoltage in the three-phase supply: replace any defective components.
- Verify if there is strain on the sliding foot: repair and adjust the sliding feet of the second board.
- Examine the control circuit and various contacts: reconnect any loose wiring.
- Ensure that the nut can rotate freely: repair the threads and replace the nuts if necessary.
